The training was attended by nurses, community healthcare workers and members of the management team from the Ningo-Prampram District Health Directorate. The training was part of the collaborative work between the Ningo-
Prampram District Assembly and Mental Health Foundation Ghana in promoting positive mental health in the district.
Training of frontline healthcare workers was identified as essential for the promotion of mental health awareness in the district. This is first of a number of training and public awareness exercises to be carried out in the district in the coming year.
