The event started at 6:30pm with interactions among attendees. Dr. Francis Acquah invited Prof. Hopwood to speak about his experience with the foundation and in Ghana. Afterward, Dr. Acquah introduced the key speaker for the fundraiser, Prof. Vincent Agyapong from Canada to speak on “Task shifting in mental health services: Extent, Impact and challenges in Ghana. The fundraiser, appealing to attendees to support the upcoming conference in October in Ghana, followed this. The funds will be used to sponsor students to attend the conference to commemorate the World Mental Health day in Ghana.
