Dignity in Mental Health

Two years ago a newly formed non-government organisation, the Mental Health Foundation of Ghana, paved the way for the mental health reform agenda in Ghana to be discussed and explored by convening the 1st Mental Health and Well-Being Conference of Ghana.
This pioneering conference was so successful attracting speakers from across the globe and more than 200 delegates that we are going to hold a 2nd Mental Health and Well-Being Conference in Ghana from 12th October to 17th October 2015. The theme for this year’s conference is in keeping with the theme for World Mental Health Day: ‘Dignity in Mental Health’.

The conference will bring together international, national and local perspectives and will consist of one full day of keynote and plenary sessions followed by three days of skills development workshops and concluding, on the fifth day, with a World Mental Health Day activity.
